The XP-1 was an experimental fighter developed by China during the Second World War using a forward-swept gull-wing design. Two prototypes but did not see mass production.

Boeing Model 281 — Chinese Peashooters
The Model 281 was the export version of the famous Boeing P-26 Peashooter, purchased and used in China during the early years of the Second Sino-Japanese War.
Renault ZB — French Export Tank for China
The Renault ZB was an experimental tank developed in the mid-1930’s. Although rejected for service with the French, sixteen units would later be constructed and exported to China where it was used against the Japanese.
The 3rd AFAMF XB-3 — Mix and Match
The XB-3 was an experimental bomber designed by the Chinese 3rd AFAMF inspired from the Soviet Tupolev SB bomber received during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
1st AFAMF Zhong 28 Yi — China’s I-15bis Production
The 1st AFAMF Zhong 28 Yi was China’s development of the famous Soviet Polikarpov I-15bis fighter. Only thirty examples were produced between 1937 and 1944 and allegedly saw combat against the Japanese.
1st AFAMF Hummingbird — China’s First Helicopter
The 1st AFAMF Hummingbird was designed by Major General Zhu Jiaren and was China’s first helicopter. No serial production commenced, but two prototypes were produced and both were lost shortly after.
1st AFAMF XP-0 — The Chinese Hawk
The 1st AFAMF XP-0 was one of China’s attempts during World War II to design and produce a capable fighter against the Japanese. A total of ten (including prototype) examples were produced.
